Thursday Quote Day: C.S. Lewis

Right now I have a couple of thoughts that will eventually turn into posts.  But I’m waiting to write them as I would like to let them marinate in my mind before writing them.  In the meantime, I thought I would share a quote.  This may be a regular thing on Thursdays, hence the title “Thursday Quote Day”.  Sometimes the quotes may be thought provoking, sometimes they may be humorous.  but all these quotes mean something to me in some way.  Here’s the quote for today:

“But the great thing to remember is that, though our feelings come and go, His [God’s] love for us does not. It is not wearied by our sins, or our indifference; and, therefore, it is quite relentless in its determination that we shall be cured of those sins, at whatever cost to us, at whatever cost to Him.”  C.S. Lewis Mere Christianity
