Thursday Quote Day: Christmas Eve Edition

For this week’s “Thursday Quote Day”, thought I’d share a line from one of my favorite Christmas carols as well as share a version of the carol.  I hope all of you have a very Merry Christmas Eve:

We Three Kings

It’s the Christmas season and it’s time for Christmas music (although for some Christmas music started playing in the middle of November).  I’ve always been a fan of the old Christmas carols, many of them have a lot of good melody and are also rich with Scripture and the Gospel.  Like many old hymns, they are rich in theology and are great to listen to.  I’ve shared in the past how I really enjoy “O Come O Come Emmanuel”.  Another one of my favorites is “We Three Kings”.  I went to look on Youtube for a version of it, and after a long time found one.  Interesting enough, it’s a cover by George Strait.  Memo to singers, you should cover this song.  Anyway, here it is:
